Indications
- Parenteral nutrition with amino acids for:
- Hypoproteinemia
- Postoperative therapy
- Subnutrition
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: Maximum daily dose is 1 to 1.5 g of total amino acids per kg of body weight by IV instillation.
- Infusion Rate: Administer 10 g of total amino acids per hour, approximately 80 to 130 drops per minute.
- Dosage may be adjusted based on age, symptoms, and body weight.
Storage
- Store in a hermetic container at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
